The transformations my patients go though from beginning to end of treatment are what makes me excited to come to work every day. It’s a thrill to see a patient who at one time was reluctant to smile, and now can’t stop beaming from ear to ear! I genuinely enjoy the relationships I build with my patients and look forward to many more years here at Kristo Orthodontics.
EDUCATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
Originally from New Richmond, Wisconsin, I attended the University of Minnesota at Duluth for my undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. I continued on to dental school at Indiana University, graduating fourth in her class with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2009 and my Master of Science in Dentistry in 2011.
At Indiana, I had amazing professors with many different philosophies and styles. Because of this I learned an assortment of different orthodontic techniques and technology, not just one. It has been immensely helpful to have a wide range of educational experiences from which to draw, as each of my patients has unique needs and requires a personalized treatment plan to achieve the best results.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
I am so happy to have made Andover, Minnesota my home. My husband Ross and I have a black lab named Jack, and are very thankful to have lots of family close by in New Richmond and River Falls. We love to go back to my hometown every year for Fun Fest!
My husband and I are into weight training, so a lot of our free time is spent at the gym. I just did my second Tough Mudder! We also enjoy the outdoors riding our Harley motorcycles, spending time at our cabin, and water and downhill skiing.
