I became interested in orthodontics during my 1-year Advanced Education in general dentistry during my first year in the United States Army. I was working side by side with some amazing orthodontists that had selected patients for us to treat from beginning to end. It was during this time that I saw the transformative power of orthodontics. I have seen the amazing impact orthodontic treatment has patients’ lives, instilling confidence and improving their overall self-esteem, health and well-being.

What I love most is the long-term relationship that orthodontics allows me to form with my patients and their families throughout their treatment and their lives. This personal level relationship gives me the opportunity to understand their needs in order to give them the ultimate result that they have been striving for. Forming these relationships and building trust is truly an enjoyable part of being an orthodontist. From the beginning of the process, I enjoy teaching them and showing them how I’m going to transform their smile culminating with the debond appointment where you unveil the smile and the patients whole new look.
